As the countdown to Houston-2007 continues, preparations for a Grande and successful National Convention are being pursued as we speak. As you know, the National President appointed Mr. Gerald Obale and Mr. Jean Simon to Chair the National Convention Committee tasked with proposing a winning Convention platform, organizing the facilities and resources on the ground and putting together a successful program to not only educate but also entertain Convention participants. In this light, the National President- Denis A. Foretia, will visit Houston-Texas from March 30th to April 2nd, 2007 to meet with members of CAMSA-Houston and discuss strategic plans. He will also meet with other community leaders, leaders of various Cameroonian Associations in the area and other individuals of goodwill to make Houston-2007 a remarkable get-together. CAMSA-Houston is organizing a Fundraising Gala on March 31st, 2007 at the Volt Banquet Hall (9525 Wilcrest @ Bisonnet) and the President will headline this event.
Please, be reminded that the Convention Ballroom is already reserved. It is the splendid Preet Pavillion Banquet Hall (http://www.preetbanquethalls.com/id3.html). Let’s begin the change in making CAMSA-USA a great professional institution.
